From Athlone in Ireland now based in North Wales comes Victorian Hardware. Popular under his many guises and disparate styles he has now perfected the eerie, brooding songs to release on his debut album, The Black Commute.

The record combines stark with sheer as the music builds subtly before grabbing you by the throat and making you listen. Taking influence from somewhere between Industrial, Electronica and Rock, it’s music to keep you on your toes.

His one-man live show is no less surprising. Seamlessly blending moods to fit any night he has enjoyed slots with many local acts. From the grittiest rock to the most experimental DJs, as well as opening for the likes of Kasabian, Pop will eat itself, Richard Fearless (Death in vegas) and Dreadzone, Victorian Hardware always raises the bar.
